Our Company

We thought it would be useful to tell you a few things about the organisation behind the Homes:

  • Formed in 1983, following the sale by its principals of the Paddocks Hospital in Princes Risborough, Hamilton House is an extremely well established and experienced operator of residential nursing homes.
  • Throughout its life the Company has focused on the operation of just two homes to the highest possible standard.
  • In 1996 the Company became the first private operator in the Home Counties to earn the Investor in People award, the foremost national standard for staff training and development.
  • All nursing homes are inspected biannually by the Health Authority. We are proud of our achievements and consider the inspection reports to be important independant professional verification of our high standards. Our company policy is to actively encourage intrested parties to examine these records.
  • Whilst Hamilton House is a very strong company, it also has all the advantages of being really quite small and has purposefully stayed that way. The Company's senior management knows every resident and every employee and vice versa.
